It’s been a few days since we began the 31 day challenge of introducing one tiny new habit into our lives, and it’s time to check in on how it’s going! Have you been able to introduce your tiny habit and make it a part of your life? If so, congratulations! If not, don’t worry - you can still join in and win a prize at the end of the month.

Our January challenge is based on B.J. Foggs approach of creating big change by starting extra small. It’s based on a simple idea: You introduce one tiny, achievable habit into your life. This can be anything, from drinking a glass of water after you wake up to doing 10 pushups before you take a shower. The idea is that these tiny habits become part of your daily routine and eventually become automatic.

But here's the thing about Tiny Habits: If you think 10 pushups are too much for whatever reason, then start with doing one pushup only! What makes this approach different is the emphasis on truly small, achievable goals. That means to break down the desired new behaviour as much as possible until it becomes almost effortless.

At Brili, we love the idea of facilitating behavioural change without beating yourself up over failure or falling off the wagon. In other words: It's perfect for everyone with ADHD who might have experienced that pure willpower doesn't do the trick for them.

So, if you haven’t already started introducing tiny habits into your life, now’s the perfect time to begin! Pick one tiny habit that makes you feel good and schedule it as a tiny routine in Brili. Try to complete it as many times per week as possible. Remember, it's tiny and shouldn't take longer than 1 minute.

You’ll be surprised at how soon you’ll be on your way to creating positive, lasting changes. Check out more details on how to participate here!
